He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lee Hampton and Vivian Lee Hampton (Roberson). He is survived by: his wife Heather Hampton; his children, Devin Hampton (AnnMarie Goerisch), Jessica Hampton (Brett Snow) and Carley Hampton (Drew Skiles); his stepson Anthony Bowles; his grandchildren, Athena and Bo Henry Bowles; his brothers, Scott Hampton and Jacob Hampton (Lacey); his mother-in-law Sharon Langley; his siblings-in-law, Wayne, Vickie Bowles, Crystal Bowles, Shawn "Bo", Timmarie Bowles, Amber and Jason DeClue; his nieces and nephews, Kameron (Sydney), Colton, Kaelynn, Cayden and Kullen; his great-niece Ellie; his aunts and uncles, Ross, Jean Roberson, Joann and Chris Creswell; and his pets, Princess Di and Nahla. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins.
