He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Gamble and Harriette Gamble (Miller); his son Gerald Ray Gamble; and his siblings, Blanche Asher, Iva Skaggs, Beulah Huff, Maxine Jarvis, Pauline Heifner, Emmalou Gillam, Grover Gamble, Homer Gamble, Paul Gamble, Rick Gamble and David Gamble.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Gamble (Stringer); his children, Rev. Kenny Gamble (Darla) of Silex and Leah Smith (John) of Mineral Point; his sisters, Faye Allen (Jim) of Mineral Point, Barb Kean (Roy) of Mineral Point and Pat Wilson of De Soto; and his grandsons, Steven, Michael, Sean and Cody. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and many other dear and special friends.
