He was predeceased by: his mother Rachel Shepard (Politte). He is survived by: his father Lloyd Shepard; his children, Joseph A. Shepard, Jr. (Amy), Jason D. Shepard (Lisa) and Sarah J. Shepard (Gabe Ballard); his grandchildren, Adam Shepard (Kayla), Stephanie Shepard, Dakota Shepard, Carter Shepard, Jarron Hahn, Nathan Bequette, Alyssa Downey, Dayton Shepard and Hailee Ballard; his great grandchildren, Colton Shepard and Skylin Hahn; his siblings, Sheila Sampson (Billy), Robin Kean (Wayne) and Randy Shepard; and his close friends, Joe Portell and Jenae "Poodles" Richards. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
