He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gensler and Ethel Gensler (Politte); his daughter Connie Conway; and his siblings, Arvin Gensler, Betty Wade and Donnie Politte.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Gensler; his daughter Dawn Volner (Robert Schmitz); his stepsons, Don Gamble and Peter Gamble (Sara); and his brother Billy Joe Gensler. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren.
