He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Benson and Elsie Benson (Lamar); his son Mikle Benson; and his siblings, George, Larry, Alvin Benson and Sherry Tise.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Robinson (Bobby) of Pevely, Sandra Ryder of Arnold, Missouri, Robert Benson of Mineral Point, Ron Benson of St. Louis, Danny Benson (Karen) of Sugarland and David Benson of Mineral Point, Missouri; and his siblings, Sharon Roth of Highridge, Missouri and Jerry Benson of Oakdale, California. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
