He is survived by: his children, Gary Smith (Sondra) of Mindenmines, MO, Kevin Smith (Nancy) of Mindenmines, MO and Joan Cantrell (Clint) of Mindenmines, MO; his daughter-in-law Sally Smith of Carl Junction, MO; his siblings, Ralph Smith (Dolly) of Liberal, MO, Louise Ellis of Grove, OK and Eva Umphenour (Kenny) of Afton, OK; his grandchildren, Melissa Hart, Garrett Smith, Amanda Janssen, Kim Barnhart, Steve Smith, Heather Smith, Thomas Smith, Beth Cantrell and Callista Smith; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Ethan and Ezra Hart.
The family suggests expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the Mindenmines Christian Church.
