He was predeceased by: his parents, Arza Jake and Annie Marguerite Dingman (Clanton); his wife Norma Elaine Edds; and his daughter Rita (Jim Leibbrand). He is survived by: his daughters, Terri Thornton (Ken) of Pittsburg, Anita Rose (Nick) of Mindenmines and Lisa Lovell (Todd) of Saddlebrooke, MO.; his siblings, Roberta Smith of Bethany, OK and Walter Clanton (Sheri) of Joplin, MO; and his grandchildren, Angela, Matthew, Troy, Mandy, Ryan, Amy, Whitney and Zach.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mindenmines Christian Church (100 8th St, Mindenmines, MO 64769). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
