He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Pete" Maxwell and Cora Ellen Greer (Hieronymous); his wife Rose Marlene Attebery; and his grandsons, Taylor Greer and Justin Cash.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Greer (Kathy) of Nevada, Joann Cash of Nevada, James Harman of Nevada, Jane Westerhold (Denver) of Rich Hill and Jimmy Greer (Melissa) of Holden, Missouri; his grandchildren, Matthew Cash (Alison) of Springfield, Michael Cash (Chelsie) of Nevada, Tyler Greer (Kelsey) of Milo, Tanner Greer of Springfield, Megan Westerhold of Manhattan, Michelle Westerhold of Rich Hill, Aaron Greer (Katlyn) of Milo, Austin Greer (Taylor), Benjamin, Levi Greer of Holden and Tyson Majors of Butler; his great grandchildren, Kenneth, Layne, Gracelynn Greer of Milo, Mason Cash of Springfield and Weston Greer of Nevada; and his siblings, Lawrence Greer of Milo, Steve Greer (Betty) of Riverside, Doris May (Lloyd) of Bella Vista and Patsy Moore.
