He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick L. Stone and Etna M. Stone (Thornley); his wife Linda Lou Burris; his siblings, Harry Stone, Terry Stone and Nancy Burris; and his son Pete.

He is survived by: his children, Les Stone, Jr. (Lorene) of Moundville, MO and Lele Woodcook (Chuck); and his sister Barbara Phelps of Liberal, MO.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
