She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Bowerman and Rosalee Bowerman (Rice); her husband Edward Meredith Dawson; and her brothers, Gene Bowerman and Eddie Lee Bowerman.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Hough of Gonzales, Louisiana, Brock Dawson (Stanna) of Oronogo and Brett Dawson of Austin, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Austin Richardson, Meredith Hough, Bella Hough, Ray Hough, Ryan Dawson, Matthew Knoderer, Arianna Dawson, Brianna Dawson and Kelsey Dawson; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Dawson (Anna) of Strafford, Missouri and Mary Lockhart of Mt. Vernon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made payable to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
