She was predeceased by: her parents, Flavius Lane and Nancy Elda Evelyn Shaffer (Casteel); her sister Georgia Washam; and her son William Friar (Bill). She is survived by: her daughter Kenda Thomas (Dick) of Marshfield; her husband Kenneth Floyd Friar; and her son-in-law Dick Thomas of Marshfield. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shiloh Cemetery, Round Grove Cemetery or the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
