As Donald Gene departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donald Gene may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donald Gene leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo M. Howard and Mildred Marie Howard (Thompson); and his sister Joyce Newman (James). He is survived by: his wife Linda Gail Holder; his sons, Don Howard, Jr. (Linda) of Mt. Vernon, Larry Howard of La Russell and Thomas Howard (Nancy) of Miller, Missouri; and his brother Jim Howard of Michigan. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home (501 N Davis St, Miller, MO 65707). A burial was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Miller Memorial Gardens.
