He was predeceased by: his wife Jo Frances Dickson (Jones); his son James Michael Dickson; his sister Donna Beal (Dickson); and his brother-in-law Fred Beal. He is survived by: his children, Richard Kelly Dickson (Ginger) of Las Cruces, Lori Dickson Wiles (Timothy) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Cindy Dickson of Milan, Missouri and John Patrick Dickson (Michelle) of Milan, Missouri.; and his grandchildren, Melody Truitt (Elijah), Christopher Dickson (Mindy), Sam Wiles (Alexis), Aaron Herzberg (Brooklyn), Zeke Allison (Lauren), Hannah Wiles Anderson (Alex), Lucas Allison, Reece Dickson, Katelin Dickson (Kyle) and Gracie Dickson.
