With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Jo Sylvester of Milan, Missouri, born in Brookfield, Missouri, who passed away on August 24, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Verl Franklin and Rosetta Franklin (Williams); and her sister Glenda Cofer. She is survived by: her children, Melissa VanDusseldorp (Lee) of Milan and Daniel Sylvester (Wendy Tennison) of Milan; her grandchildren, Andra Sylvester, Emily Sylvester (Glen Kitchen), Derrick Sylvester (Hannah Sherrow), Katlynn Sylvester, Addison Sylvester, Jordan Bartels and Josh VanDusseldorp; her great grandchildren, Colt Herzberg, Finley Sylvester, Paisley Kitchen and Eastyn Kitchen; and her nieces and nephews, Jimmy Cofer, Terri Phillips, Penny Pipes (Steve), Casey Cofer (Natalie) and Paula Gormley.

Memorial contributions in Sharon' s name may be made to the First Baptist Church in Milan.
