He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Gardner and Phyllis Riddle (Moore) of Milan; his wife Sara Gardner (Lantz); his children, Nick Taylor (Ashlee) of Milan and Fallon Gardner (Phill Srivisay) of Merriam, Kansas; his daughter-in-law Charity Taylor of Green City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Tori Taylor, Lancey Taylor, Cooper Taylor, Carter Taylor, Chloe Taylor and Clare Taylor; his siblings, Sharon Gardner of Columbia, Janet Maulsby (Cary) of Milan and Steve Gardner (Paula) of Pharr, Texas; his aunts, Anna Lou Sears of Kansas City, Frances Bunch of Milan, Jean Oertwig of Texas and Carmen Yos of Kirksville; his brother-in-law David Lantz (Elizabeth) of Dawn, Missouri; his stepfather Wendell Riddle; his son Christopher Taylor; his brother Butch Gardner; and his parents-in-law, Ronald and Carole Lantz.
