He was predeceased by: his grandmother Dorothy; and his birth father Greg Melnick. He is survived by: his parents, Steve Belcher and Marianna Belcher of Joplin, Missouri; his daughters, Jaden Melnick of Springfield, Tyne Melnick of Kirksville and Aubrey Melnick of Kirksville; his siblings, T. J. Belcher of Joplin and Andrea Seutter of Port Richey, Florida; his aunt Billye; his uncle Ron McCrary of Maryville, Missouri; his niece Finley Belcher of Joplin; and his nephew Eric Belcher of Joplin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home (120 W 4th St, Milan, MO 63556).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Jaden Melnick to go towards a scholarship for Milan student athletes.
