It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Jean Smith-Elder of Milan, Missouri, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Virgil and Olive Jean Smith (Talbert); her husband Richard "Dick" Elder; her grandparents, Vernon, Sidney Talbert (Whitacre), Coy and Sylvia Smith; her brothers, Terry Douglas Smith and Larry David Smith (Phyllis) of Georgia; and her cousins, Lisa Hatcher (Jeff), Jean Ann Stannard and Janet Sayre. She was also cherished by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
