He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Furnish and Lita Furnish (Shilt); and his daughter Shawna Rae Furnish. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Furnish (Hummel); his children, Bryan Furnish (Megan) of Milan, Laura McBee (Jason Gibbs), Christa Widner (Matt) of Lucerne and Erin Furnish (Kyle Fordyce) of Newtown, Missouri; his grandchildren, Marcus Furnish, Madison Furnish, Korbyn Furnish, Alec McBee, Raygen McBee, Lauren Fordyce, Anna Fordyce, Ellie Fordyce, Izabell Miller, Mazey Miller, Andrew Fordyce and Sebastian Fordyce; his sister Deborah Sandefur of Olathe, Kansas; his nephews, Nicholas Sandefur and Ian Sandefur (Tracy); and his siblings-in-law, Martin "Butch" Hummel (Debbie) of Lawson, Missouri, Virginia "Jenny" Hulsopple (David) of Savannah, Sara Blanchard (Tim) of Lucerne and Maggie Brown of Princeton, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are suggested to American Legion Post #228 or Milan C-II FFA.
