We bid farewell to Lee Ann Horton of Middletown, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 26, 2024 at the age of 68. Lee Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Sachs and Darlene Sachs (Kampman); her brother Larry Sachs; her parents-in-law, Ernest and Nancy Horton; and her brother-in-law Robert Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Dorsey Horton, Sr.; her children, Marcie Brandenburg (Danny) of Overland Park, DJ Horton (Tara) of Bowling Green and Dusty Horton (Kailyn Garnett) of Laddonia, Missouri; her grandchildren, Daylyn Johnson (Colten), Austin Horton, Kyla Lindsey, Hunter Horton, Rayna Brandenburg and Brynlee Horton; her great grandchildren, Hadley, Paisley and Remington Johnson; her siblings, Les Sachs (Stephanie), Lenny Sachs (Jeanette), Linda Dunbar (Mark), Lloyd Sachs (Polly), Danny Sachs (Sharon) and Darren Sachs (Stacey); and her siblings-in-law, Sherri Sachs, Joe Horton (Sylvia) and Maggie Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schlanker Funeral Home (207 Danville Rd, Montgomery City, MO 63361). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
