It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Gerdeman of Middletown, Missouri, born in Fulton, Missouri, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Willard Woodson (Montgomery); her boyfriend Robert Utterback (Bobby); her son Patrick; her sister Wilma Fern Woodson; her sister-in-law Betty Lou Woodson; her niece Susan Woodson; her nephew Michael Patrick; and her former husbands, Gerald Lionberger and George Gerdeman.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Lionberger (Kimberly) of Wentzville and Carrie Gerdeman (Shelly Wolfe) of Rapid City; her stepdaughters, Shelley Gerdeman and Charlotte Edwards (Peter); her brothers, Robert "Bob" Woodson of Middletown and Harold "Chee" Woodson (Michelle) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Jesse (Jenny), Zachary (Karly), Chad, Austin Lionberger (Shannon), Brandon, Mady Wolfe, Myken and Tagyn Gerdeman; her great grandchildren, Jett, Bodi, Madison and Lillie; and her nieces, Shelly Groteluschen, Jill Woodson, Megan Woodson and Christie Moore (David).
In lieu of flowers, the family would sincerely appreciate memorial gifts to the Pike County Home Health and Hospice.
