It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Fairchild of Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Fairchild and Ruth Fairchild; his wife Barbara Ann Birket of Nampa, Idaho.; and his siblings, Howard Fairchild, Frances Fairchild and Margery Boling.
He is survived by: his children, Andrew (Faye) of Benton City, Callen Zind (Tom) of Lee's Summit and Steven (Jennifer) of Mexico, Missouri; his brother Fred of Jackson, Mich.; his grandchildren, Adam Fairchild (Julia), Aaron Fairchild, Anthony Fairchild, Helena Fairchild, Anna Fairchild, Guy Fairchild and Ian Zind; his great grandchildren, Kasen Fairchild and Konner Fairchild; and his sister-in-law Judy Titus of McCall. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home (425 S Jefferson St, Mexico, MO 65265). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mexico United Methodist Church (122 E Promenade St, Mexico, MO 65252).
