Walter Day Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Day of Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Day and Darlene Day (Hogan); his son Kenneth Long; and his siblings, Paul Day and Mary Lou Denham.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Long; his granddaughter Kymberlynn Tessman; his children, Walter Day, Jr. of St. Louis, Kevin Long (Valerie) of Pensacola, FL, Angela Hogan (Russell) of Eldon and Elizabeth Day of Mexico; and his sisters, Janie Maxwell (Jerry) of Mexico and Chris Nelson (Fred) of Columbia. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mexico Lions Club or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
