Virgil Erwin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Erwin of Mexico, Missouri, born in Martinsburg, Missouri, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Erwin and Florence Marie Erwin (Brown); and his siblings, Wayne Ellsworth "Sport" Erwin, George Leroy Erwin, Edwin Curtis Erwin, Carol Lou "Babe" Wieschhaus and Elberta "Bert" McGrew.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy Mills; his siblings, Glen Erwin (Carolyn) of Mexico and Frances Jane Orrill of Mount Pleasant, Texas; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Erwin of Martinsburg and Janet Erwin of Fulton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Missouri Veterans Home Staff Activities Fund.
