It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Franklin Bird of Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard Franklin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard Franklin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bird and Lucille Bird (O'Rourke); and his brothers, Dennis Bird and Ronnie Bird. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Bird of Jefferson City and Hope Young of Mexico; and his grandchildren, Markus Sing, Tammra McDaniel, Kami Peterson, Tristan Young and Emma Young. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
