He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn House (Sandlan) and Averill House; his foster parents, Claudie Smith and Lucille Smith; and his sister Maureen Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca House; his children, Rhonda Curtis (Ian) of Laddonia, Ruthie House of St. Louis and Ryan Erik House of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Shelby Faye Sims (Josh) of Laddonia, Raymond Gatlin Curtis of Laddonia and Audrey Baird of St. Louis; his great grandchild Lainey Rae Sims of Laddonia; his sisters, Cheryl Yoos (Fred) of Arkansas and Linda Bowman of Minnesota; and his brother-in-law Eldon Roberts of Sherman, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico.
