Phyllis Murta Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Murta of Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on August 9, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Landwehr and Flora Landwehr (Stock); and her siblings, Doris Green, Wayne, Robert, Maurice, Ralph and Carl Landwehr.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Murta; her children, Philip Murta (Barbara Kehl) of Mexico and Amy Menefee (Todd) of Columbia; her grandsons, Jacob Murta, Ross Menefee and Quintin Menefee; her sisters, Lois Ruffner of Bem and Barbie Schroepfer of Washington, Missouri; her sister-in-law Sandy Landwehr; and her goddaughter Debbie Adams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the King's Daughters Home, American Heart Association or the Dialysis Clinic (DCI).
