Nora Poage Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2024, at the age of 99, Nora Poage of Mexico, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nora Poage to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ray and Edna Dorothea Playter (Pagel); her husband Robert Augustus Poage, Sr.; her daughter Linda Peters; and her sisters, Virginia Ferrier and Ruth Cooper.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Poage, Jr. (Glenda) of Mexico, Donna Schaefer (Norbert) of Mexico and Glen Poage of Mexico; her son-in-law David Peters of Paola, Kansas; her grandchildren, Scott Ray Poage (Angie) of Wellsville, Kerri Wilkerson (Donnie) of Mexico, Kassie Kelley (John) of Paola, Darek Dunlap (Tracy) of St. Louis, Shawn Gibbs (Megumi) of Iowa, Lana Lubbert (Kenny) of Lee's Summit and Kelly Ann Showman of Blue Springs; and her cousin Essilee Snook (Bud) of Mexico. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Women of the Moose, Pin Oaks Living Center or Mexico United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson St., Mexico, MO 65265.
