He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Highsmith and Eva Highsmith (Harvey). He is survived by: his wife Alice; and his nieces, Carla Haley (Butch) of Auxvasse, Michelle Niemeyer of Columbia, Shawne Williams (Crystal) of Columbia, Shelly Leake (Kevin) of Columbia and Rachael Baker (Paul) of Centralia. He is also survived by nine step-children; and many nephews and nieces.
