It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Anne Whalen of Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Graydon Burchfield and Cleo Burchfield (Johnson); and her husband Leslie Wayne Whalen. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Becker (Whalen) of Kansas City, MO, Larry Whalen (Janne) of Mexico, Jim Whalen (Judy) of Castle Rock, CO and Jay Whalen (Lisa) of Mexico; her granddaughter Kimberly Becker Vaccaro (Mike) of San Diego, CA; her children, Keith Becker (Anne) of Kansas City, Kurt Becker (Brittany) of Peoria, IL, Kent Becker (Eunhye) of Peoria, IL, Cody Whalen of Mexico, Tiffany Whalen of Lexington, SC, Mindy Whalen Heller (Reid) of Castle Rock, CO, Cole Whalen, Jordan McNeil of Mexico, Delaney McNeil of Los Angeles, CA and Kelsay Schrader (JR) of Blackwater, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Joann Burchfield (John) of Olathe, KS and Emma Whalen Jaccarino (Mike) of Wellsville, MO.. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
