It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Teuerle of Mexico, Missouri, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James DeGiacomo and Philomena DeGiacomo (Giampovlo); and her husband Robert Charles Teuerle. She is survived by: her children, Robert Charles Teuerle, Jr. (Carmen) of Wheeling, Michael James Teuerle (Tracy) of Kenosha, Janet Hansen (Greg) of Lake St and Margaret Holtkamp of Mexico; her grandchildren, John Barilani, Ashley Gielow, Hailey Bartilotta, Kelsey Teuerle, Samantha Rivera, Josh Fugate, Ashley Fugate, Nicole Fugate, Jessica Knicl, Emiley Huighe, Kristy Sertier, LeeAnn Holtkamp and Jacob Holtkamp; and her sister Josephine Larsen of Lake. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mexico United Methodist Church.
