With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lyndell Wayne Farrah of Mexico, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lyndell Wayne left this world on January 29, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marvin and Ruby Lois Farrah (Smith); his wives, Marilyn Farrah and Sheila Farrah; his son Jeff Knipp; his grandson Nathanial Knipp; his brothers, James Farrah, Charles Farrah and Stanley Farrah; his sister-in-law Bonnie Farrah; his niece Rhonda Farrah; and his nephew Kevin Farrah.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Bates (Brenda) of Columbia, Brenda Atterberry of Mexico and Darin Knipp of Mexico; his brother Russell Farrah of Moscow Mills; his sisters-in-law, Lee Watts of Alabama and Darlene Farrah of Independence; and his friend Emiley Huighe. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lockewood Park Baptist Church (1005 W Love St, Mexico, MO 65265). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
