It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kayla Marie Nieders of Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Samuel and Kitty Long; her aunt Linda Wheeler; and her uncles, Richard Long, Kenneth Long, Gary Long and Wayne Harrison.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph Nieders; her children, Gracie, Erik, Evelyn, Zakiya, Jacob and Aubrey; her siblings, Kim McCurdy (Charles) of Mexico, Jimmy Wilkerson of Paris, Charlisa Marxen (Larry) of Shelbina, Bubba Wilkerson (Angela) of Shelbina, Kimberly Wilkerson of Shelbina, Keith Long of Curryville and Jeanette White of Paris; her sister-in-law Brittany Long of Troy; her in-laws, Roger and Deborah Nieders of Payson, Illinois; her brother-in-law Richard Nieders (Melissa) of Payson, Illinois.; her aunts and uncles, Mike Long (Becky) of Mexico, Charlie Long (Edna) of Perry, Cathy Rouse (Jack) of Mexico, Bonnie Griffin of Mexico, Patty Wells (Mike) of Smithton, Cheryl Farinella (Erika) of Columbia and Ginny Ham (David) of Mexico; her nieces and nephews, Matthew McCurdy of Mexico, Huck, Tuff Long of Troy, Alania McCurdy of Mexico and Cheyenne Long of Troy; her parent Carolyn Long; and her cousin Timon Ham. She is also survived by cousins and close family friends.
