It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Houston of Mexico, Missouri, born in House, New Mexico, who passed away on June 29, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Houston and Agnes Houston; and his sisters, Sandy, Martha and Vera Nell.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jane Snodgrass of Booneville; his daughters, Deana Millen (David) of Henryville, Indiana, Joni Lewis (Michael) of Evergreen, Colorado and Karen Duckworth (Chuck) of Overland Park, Kansas; his grandchildren, Natalie Ogburn (Robert), Hayden, Addison, Sam Millen (Chrissy), Sara Cooper (Austin), Kaden and Ayla; his great grandchildren, Jack, Jacob Lewis, Trey and Houston Duckworth; and his siblings, Louise Moon of Santa Ana, California, Otis Houston of Mount Vernon, Gordon Houston of Stanton and Bill Houston of Auxvasse, Missouri..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Mexico, Missouri.
