Jamie Sue Deardorff Obituary
Jamie Sue Deardorff, 59, of Mexico, passed away Wednesday morning, March 27, 2024, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday March 30, 2024, at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Stanford officiating. Burial will follow in St. Brendan Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Jamie was born January 25, 1965, in Mexico. She was the daughter of Jim and Sue (Mitchell) Deardorff.
Jamie graduated from Mexico High School in 1983. She then worked in childcare for over 30 years with her grandmother Gloria Mitchell. She loved each and every one of the children she cared for.
She loved to watch Hallmark movies, going to garage sales, collecting items, and she read all different kinds of books.
Survivors include her mother, Sue Deardorff; one brother, Tim Deardorff, of Mexico; and Tim's daughter Amanda (Joe) Veasman, of Columbia, and their children, Alexandra and Samantha; her Aunt and Uncle, Betty Ann and Junior Spurling, of Mexico, and their children, Chad (Deb) Spurling, of Mexico, and their children, Ryan, Matt, and Eric, Charla (Jose) Urioste, of Merida Yucatan, Mexico, and their children, Marina and Mitchell, and Craig (Nora) Spurling, of Mexico, and their children Makayla and Caitlyn; her uncle, Andy (Mary Beth) Mitchell, of Leawood, Kansas, and their children, Will, Kate, Ellie and Anna.
Jamie was preceded in death by her father, Jim Deardorff, grandparents, Stanley and Margaret Deardorff, and Anderson and Gloria Mitchell.
