It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Clampitt of Mexico, Missouri, born in Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Francis and Luella Clampitt (Manzenberger); and his brother Johnny Clampitt. He is survived by: his wife Cora Clampitt of Mexico; his son Jim Clampitt (Angie) of Mexico; his grandchildren, Abby Phillips (Erik) of Columbia, James N. Clampitt of New Orleans, Maggie Clampitt-Ward (Josh) of Columbia, Ben Clampitt of Mexico, Darien Mills of Mexico and Franny Rudasill of Mexico; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Jackson, Christopher Phillips and Riley Rudasill; and his siblings, Jane Fansler (John) of Bedford, Indiana, Jerry Clampitt (Tracey) of Bedford, Indiana and Joseph Clampitt (Tami) of Bedford, Indiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Genesis Church General Fund.
