He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert Pound, Sr. and Effie Caroline Wiser Pound; his former wife Donna Sue Howell Pound; his grandchildren, Justin Pound and Christina Hunn; his stepson Gregory Sprock; and his siblings, Joseph Wiser Pound, John Eddie Pound, Jessie Alice Maxwell, Laura Clarice Jones, Effie Lucille Sims and Alberta June Pound.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Orf Pound; his children, Kyle Pound (Lynn) of Laddonia, Melanie Hunn of Laddonia and Marlice Pound of Ashland; his stepchildren, Bryan Sprock (Lori) of Millersburg, Douglas Sprock of Grand Junction, CO and Brenda Dunn (Jim) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Ryan Hunn, Sara Wood (Janssen), Lincoln Smith (Dana), Jarrett Smith (Amy), Alisha Glasgow (Wayne) and Matt Pound (Lindsey); his stepgrandchildren, Morgan Brandkamp, Elizabeth McDermit, Gregory John Sprock, Jr., Stephanie Sprock and Cody Sprock; his great grandchildren, Christina Hunn, Abby Hunn, Owen Wood, Bradly James Smith, Kaylee Smith, Paige Provoost, Brynn Smith, Jaysten James Smith, Brooklynn, Braysen, Brixyn Glasgow and Noah Pound; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lexi and Aria Brandkamp; and his great great grandchild Allie Ingram.
