George Joseph Fischer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Joseph Fischer of Mexico, Missouri, born in Rush Hill, Missouri, who passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Fischer and Georgia Fischer; his daughter Susan; and his siblings, Bobby Fischer, Betty and JoAnn.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Herron; his children, Tony Fischer of Laddonia, Kevin Fischer of Wellsville, Mary Funderburg (Rick) of Springdale, AR, Travis Fischer (Lana) of Jonesboro, AR and Kelli Fischer (Leslie Harris) of Decatur, AL; and his siblings, Jane Ulry (C. W.) of Lawrence, KS, Dorothy Agee (Bob) of St. Joe, Rose Carlson (Bob) of Shell Knob and Johnny Fischer (Gloria) of Kimberling City. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
