He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Robert and Angie Johns (Mundy); his wife Betty Johns; his siblings, James Johns, Virginia Fox and Mary Lunceford; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Beal, Kyle Hooton, Sharon Crawford and Randy Scott; his daughter Ruth; and his son-in-law Eddie Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Jr. "Tommy" Johns (Ruth), James "Bubby" Johns (Tammy), Debbie Hooton (Marion), Carla Barker, Rhonda Claywell, Jeanie Jesse, Kim Beal, Keila Burts (David) and Fran Davis; his siblings, Carroll Harp and Robert Johns; and his grandson Shawn Jesse. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
