She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Troesser and Rose Troesser (Deimeke); her husband Gerald Oakes; her son Kevin Oakes; her grandson Joshua Oakes; her brothers, Harold Troesser and Lawrence Troesser; and her son-in-law Darin Stone.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Oakes (Nancy) of Mexico, Mary Ann Oakes of Hallsville, Tim Oakes of Mexico and Jennifer Martin (Scott) of Vandalia; her grandchildren, Jessica Riechers, Brandon Oakes, Tera Scott and Justin Durham; her siblings, Joe Troesser (Pat) of Laddonia and Irene Hard of Mexico; and her sister-in-law Frances Troesser of Laddonia. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
