We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2021, at the age of 46, Eugenia Owens of Mexico, Missouri, born in Columbia, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stacy Owens; her grandparents, Annie Woolery, Mary Gertrude Moore and Samuel Tolston; her great-grandparent Minnie Gardner; her uncle David Gardner; and her mother-in-law Birdell Owens.
She is survived by: her parents, Robert Eugene Cheatum of Columbia and Jeanetta Daye Gardner (Ronald) of Columbia; her close friend Ronnette Lerma; her children, Stacia Owens of Columbia, Elias (Mekhi Owens), Nell Clark of New Orleans and Brandon Hammers (Brent Hammers) of Mexico; her grandchildren, Alicia, Akira and Jarell; her siblings, Ryan, Julian, Miles Cheatum of Columbia, Shawn Nunnelly (Summer) of Mexico, Michael Shivers (Amber), Tyronn Lue, Aszura Nunnelly (Lyle), Courtney Hoffman (Terrill) of Mexico, Natasha Brooks of Starkville, MS and Lacresha Woods of Kansas City; and her godchildren, Quaychell, Shia and Latia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles and cousins and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Eugenia's Children for their higher education.
