We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2023, at the age of 95, Elmer Leroy Schinkel of Mexico, Missouri, born in Ava, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelis "Casey" Schinkel and Rosie Schinkel (Hodges); his wife Amy Schinkel; and his sisters, Ruby Alcorn and Anna Hughes.
He is survived by: his sons, Howard Schinkel (Patricia) of Mexico and Edwin Schinkel (Liane) of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Diane Brumbaugh (Luke) of Mexico and Ethan Schinkel (Jenny) of Derby, KS; and his great grandchildren, Jonah Brumbaugh of Mexico and Ezra Schinkel of Derby, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1300 S. Elmwood Drive, Mexico, MO 65265.
