He is survived by: his wife Anna Louise Bernhart; his children, David Martin Bernhart, Jr. of Denver, Colorado, Ervin Michael Bernhart (Laurine Garrity) of San Francisco, California, Gregory Thomas Bernhart (Anne) of Westhampton, Valine Marie Perll (Peter) of Mexico and Jeanine Edith Bernhart of Los Angeles, California; his grandchildren, Kathyrn Salmons (Alex), Michael Perll, Anna Perll, Vincent Perll, James Perll, Nicole Bernhart, Anne Marie Bernhart, Catherine Bernhart, Alex Bernhart, Chris Bernhart (Ana Duarte), Victoria Bernhart and Anessa Bernhart; his great grandchildren, Caroline and Charlotte Salmons; and his sister Susan Langenberger of Arizona.
