He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorence Ostendorf and Ada Ostendorf (Rittmayer); his brother Dorence Ostendorf; and his nephew Shawn Ostendorf. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ostendorf; his children, Angela Dishman (Kurtis) of Mexico and Brian Ostendorf of Mexico; his grandchildren, Kenzie and Kloie Dishman; his sister Cheryl Avello (Henry) of Houston, Texas; and his stepbrother John Elder (Carol) of Republic. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
