It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cliff Hinten of Mexico, Missouri, born in Thompson, Missouri, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hinten and Mabel Hinten (Riddle); and his brother Robert "Bob" Hinten. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Barlow; his children, Clifford Hinten Jr. of Arkansas, Josh Hinten (Crystal) of Wellsville, Jeremiah Hinten of Joplin, Missouri, Sherry Sumpter (Terry) of Williamsburg, Dotty Ladner of Mississippi and Misty Smith of Mexico; and his sister Jessie Exendine of Mexico. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to Children's Therapy and Early Education School, or to the Benton City Cemetery.
