She was predeceased by: her parents, John Applebee and Frances Applebee (Schneider); her son John Shockley; her grandson Johnathon Shockley; and her great grandchild Demaro Beasley.
She is survived by: her husband Forrest Shockley of Mexico; her daughter Cindy Niswonger (Dave) of Mexico; her grandchildren, Stacey Williams of Mexico, Randall Beasley of Mexico and Cassie Varner (Darren) of Mexico; and her great grandchildren, Camden Williams, James Varner and Cailyn Varner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Sunrise Christian Church.
