He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Schott and Claire Schott (Dean); and his sister Mary Anne Rustad. He is survived by: his wife Ursula Strepp; his children, Tina Mendonca (Arthur) of Germany, Philip Schott of Jefferson City, Natalie Schott of Falmouth, UK and J. P. Schott (Lauren) of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Luke, Anya, Liam, Bella, Claire Mendonca, Trevor and Caleb Schott; and his brother Ted Schott (Kathy) of Collinsville, IL..
