She was predeceased by: her parents, Ford Oliver Ballinger and Martha Ann Riggan Ballinger; her brothers, Samuel Lee Ballinger, Ford Alison Ballinger and Frank Murray Ballinger; her husband Joe Cannon Olive; and her daughter Martha Caroline Olive.
She is survived by: her close friend Claudia Thorn; her daughters, Mary Jo Nichols (James) of Lamar and Ann Signer of Chicago, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Tara Aesquivel (Virgillio) of Los Angeles, Lauren Nichols (Keenan Brown) of Joplin, Sam Signer of Fort Walton Beach and Sarah Signer of Overland Park, Kansas.; and her great grandchild Adler Aesquivel of Los Angeles, California..
