He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Ray and Dorothy Irene Allen (Gentry); his wife Annabelle Allen (Snidow); his daughter Kay Moore; his grandson Brent Shields; his great grandchild Joel Allen; and his brothers, Hubert, Harold and Mike Allen.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Allen (Velma) of Mercer, MO, Shirley West (Ron) of Mercer, MO and Melanie Taylor of Mercer, MO; his grandchildren, Jerry Allen (Lynnette) of Princeton, MO, Zackary Allen (Amanda) of Mercer, MO, Amanda Durham (Elisha) of Slater, MO, Zebediah Allen (Kathy) of Corder, MO, Zane Allen (Kelsey) of Princeton, MO, Brian Shields of Lineville, MO, Justin West (Kayla) of Mercer, MO, Tara Green (Justin) of Corydon, IA, Tommy West (Tina) of Mercer, MO, Luke West (Jill) of Mercer, MO and Heath West of Mercer, MO; and his sisters, Roberta McCulley (Lloyd) of Trenton, MO and Beatrice McGuire (George) of Trenton, MO.. He is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
