He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Sr. McGrew and Juanita McGrew (Gallegos); his sisters, Helen Catanach (Adam) of Knoxville, TN and Sheila McGrew of Mendon, MO; his grandparents, George, Helen McGrew (Smith) and Librada Gallegos (Gonzales); and his aunts, Patricia Lowery (McGrew) and Kathleen McGrew Boeckstiegel.
