It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Marie (Hepworth) Young (Mendon, Missouri), who passed away on December 28, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Winfred and Zelda Hepworth (Smith); her husband Clarence Clifford Young; her siblings, Lewis Hepworth, Ruth Hepworth, Marjorie Hepworth and Marguerite Hepworth; and her grandson Nathan Linscott.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Linscott (Duane) of Mendon, MO and Darryl Young (Jennie) of Mendon, MO; her grandchildren, Jesse Linscott (Meghan) of Sumner, MO, Curtis Linscott (Matthew Koons) of St. Louis, MO, Lindie Romero (Stephen) of Denver, CO, Tiffany Ostermann (Derrick) of Mendon, MO and Abby Young of Kansas City, MO; her granddaughter-in-law Joann Linscott of Brookfield, MO; and her great grandchildren, Diana Linscott, Weston Linscott, Griffin Linscott, Ayden Romero, Liam Romero, Parker Ostermann and Elsie Ostermann.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Northwestern R-I. All donations will go to the athletic department where Marie enjoyed cheering on those that called her Mema.
